Good, easy 3-mile run.

The term BLOG is a portmanteau, or, in other words, a blend of the words web and log. A blog is a user-generated website where entries are made in journal style and displayed in a reverse chronological order. Blogs often provide commentary or news on a particular subject, such as food, politics, or local news; some function as more personal online diaries (as this one). A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic.

You know there’s been ice cream in the house when the dishwasher is full of bowls and spoons!

GREAT 3-mile run – fast, fast, and faster…

Good nights sleep. GREAT 6-mile run! Lost 2 more toenails last night. 2 that were bruised after a 10-mile run in January :~O I have 1 more bruised one — I assume it will come off soon. I don’t think my feet will ever be pretty again.
Oh, a note about spitting. I keep thinking I’m going to write this but when I think about it I’m never at the computer. Anyway, a lesson learned from a race in February. First, if you’re running fast, DON’T spit in front of you. You will catch up with it before it hits the ground. And second, if you spit to the side, make sure no one’s there!

another day off :~O

Another day of rest — just because I didn’t sleep well last night. Too much going on, too much on my mind.

GREAT Race! Not the 25 that I was hoping for but 25:43, I settle for that. A PERSONAL BEST! That’s like 2 minutes better than my last 5K last fall — 27 something. That’s really amazing to improve that much in just a few months. Runners struggle to shave a few seconds off their time. Mile 1 was pretty much up and down — mostly down I think. Mile 2 was mostly up :~( and mile 3 was down hill all the way home. My first split was 7:23!!! Second was 16 something. Felt good. Needed a little bit more nutrition the night before to give me more energy. GREAT Nike drifit shirt from Nike Town.
