The run yesterday was great! Mango Clifshot — I like it! We did 15, I probably could have pushed it to 20 but didn’t want to risk an re-injury. We will do 20 in a couple or 3 weeks from now. Drank the last of my Accelerade. I’m going back to the Gatoraid High Endurance. It’s difficult to find sometimes but cheaper and taste a WHOLE LOT better for sure!

There were a lot of people out yesterday, maybe because the weather was so, so nice. The ATC was having a 5/10 mile race out there. They didn’t get started until 8, we started around 6:30. On our 3rd lap the elite runners came up on us and quickly passed. It was exhilarating to hear the pounding of their footsteps quickly approaching. First one — a Kenyan no doubt, then about a minute latter another [white guy — it’s a small local race], then about 3 minutes later, another white guy.

The weather yesterday morning was cool and breezy. It’s been a long, long time since I remember feeling that!

This morning we have the French doors to the sunroom open, it’s actually cooler outside than it is in the house. I think the high today is supposed to be in the 70s — Fall is arriving and I LOVE IT! My favorite time of the year!

And what a Fall it is going to be! So much to look forward to besides the obvious… great runs, great races — the MCM Marathon, PTC 15K, Thanksgiving Day 1/2 Marathon, the possibility of a new Macbook Pro with Mac’s new OS, an iPhone, seeing BIG Tom at Thanksgiving — that pretty much tops the list :~), the hopeful conclusion of this 1 week construction project that has been dragging on now for– going into our 7th week – WHEW!

WeLcOmE FaLL!
