Yesterday, late a.m. we hit the beach and took a dip in God’s BIG pool, the ocean. Then, we decided to go and rest our weary bones in the hot tub. But rest we did not. We ended up playing a viscous game of volleyball in the hot tub, sort of… Then it was back to the beach for the rest of the a.m. and into the afternoon. We made a trip to the gift shop and got Sari Beri a souvenir beach volleyball and Perry’s tshirt.

For dinner, we went to a really cool place that a friend told us about — Thanks Tracy! They valet park your car – only because of space. It’s a hole-in-the-wall kind of place. [www.snackjacks.com] High Tides at Snack Jacks. And, it’s been there, on the beach, since 1947! AND, the best part — the food is incredible!!! We’ll def go back. My bff got a souvenir tshirt. HOWEVER, this is really weird, when I got out of the truck I immediately started coughing. It was really, really strange, especially when my bff and Sari Beri got out and they started coughing and hacking uncontrollably! There we all stood, trying to walk into the place, coughing and hacking our lungs out. WHAT WAS GOING ON?!? We were seated at a table on the beach and continued to cough, all 3 of us. Then we noticed others coughing as well. What’s wrong with this place? A waitress came over and could tell we weren’t from around here and that we didn’t understand why we [and a whole bunch of others] were coughing. She said, “RED TIDE.” I never knew. I didn’t know anything about red tide except that it killed fish. I certainly didn’t know that it was a micro-organism in the air that made you cough. It was difficult to bare it. I think if it were red tide where we are staying I’d have to leave!

After dinner we went to the World Largest Harley Davidson store in Daytona — it’s MASSIVE! And, we might be going back there again today. Shhhhh… don’t tell anyone… I think my bff found another souvinere… he he he…
