Traveling Pants

This is so cool! If you listen to Kevin & Taylor in the morning on the way to work or whatever you probably already know about the “Traveling Pants.” These pants have been all over on mission trips and vacations alike— to Berlin, Canada, Alaska, Mexico, London, Uganda, Bahamas, Belize, Coast Maya, Cozumel, San Francisco, Yosemite, Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, Ireland and evidently, just returned from Italy.

Go to their website at, drag your mouse over the “Morning Show” [on the left] and click on “Kevin & Taylor In The Morning.” Scroll down the page until you reach “Kevin & Taylor’s Traveling Pants.” This is what it reads: “Going on a trip? You can take Kevin & Taylor’s Traveling Pants on vacation with you! They’ll be the most traveled pants in the world. You’ll bring them on your journey and take pictures of you and your loved ones wearing them in famous places. Just fill out this form. You could be one of the lucky ones to take the traveling pants on vacation with you.”

Well, some time back my running partner signed up to take the pants to the Marine Corps Marathon with her this weekend. Today she gets this email: “We would love to send “
Kevin & Taylor‘s Traveling Pants” with you to the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, DC! I will put the pants in the mail today and confirm with the post office to be sure they arrive on Friday for your departure on Saturday. OR if you prefer, you can pick them up from the station. I apologize for the short notice, the pants just arrived back from Italy, but they are ready for DC! :)”

So how cool is that!?! I guess the “Traveling Pants” will be going to the MCM with my running partner. She’ll take a few pics with them and they’ll be posted on the website some time soon.
