I ran the 5k on Saturday, and I am very glad I did. The turn out looked really good and was well supported. There was only one water station but it was only a 3 mile run. If anyone is planning do run this event next year I suggest hitting some hills first. The first mile and a half are pretty easy but after the turn around it is mostly up hill and the last 1/4 mile is the toughest. I would do this race again today. And it benefits a good cause. I just wish the event was held under happier circumstances. The event is held for a scholarship program by the parents who’s son died in a car accident.
