GREAT 2 laps around the Rock early this a.m. [I was up at 4:45– on a Saturday… THAT’S CRAZY!] The weather was absolutely PERFECT and there were LOTS and LOTS of people out, walking, running and biking. A stop by Starbucks on the way back toped off a GREAT morning experience πŸ™‚

Last night’s dinner and show were great. I love the little Italian place we’ve eaten at the last couple of times– really good food and the service has been good as well.

Got some work done for a client this afternoon, proofs are ready and I think it’s as they want, although the chicken scratch was somewhat difficult to decipher.

I’m all ready for the Mother’s Day breakfast at church in the morning– taking my commercial waffle maker. That aught to be interesting πŸ™‚ I have strawberries, blueberries and whipping cream for topping.

I’m also ready for the annual family Mother’s Day get together at our house. There is some sickness in the family so not everyone is going to make it this year 😦 We’ll miss the sick ones. The menu includes: grilled flank steak, baked potato, tossed salad, fresh baked bread, birthday cake and ice cream– We have 5 May birthdays in our family.

I don’t expect any “challenges” next week. It looks just to be a normal kind of week which will be nice– haven’t had one of those in quite a while. I’m looking forward to the “BIG Birthday Weekend”. We have lots of plans. Now that I think of it, dinner on Saturday might be a challenge, but whatever… it’s my BIRTHDAY! I’m not sure what our dinner plans are, probably either a meal at home or possibly Upscale Pizza. However, I’ve heard the lines at Upscale Pizza are horrendous! I am really looking forward to the Old Courthouse 5K on Saturday morning. It’s a pretty flat and fast course and they are famous for giving away nifty door prizes πŸ™‚ The Geranium Festival Saturday afternoon will be nice as well.
