Chick-fil-A Cows git more honorz

Already icons in the advertising world, Chick-fil-A Inc.’s Eat Mor Chikin Cows have been granted another sweet honor by PEZ Candy Inc.

On Monday, the candy company started selling Chick-fil-A Cow PEZ dispensers at Chick-fil-A restaurants. The dispensers come with a roll of lemon-flavored PEZ and sell for $1.99. The PEZ dispenser is also be available through Chick-fil-A’s Web site,

“While our ‘Eat Mor Chikin’ campaign is an integral part of Chick-fil-A’s marketing, it has also become part of American pop culture,” said Steve Nedvidek, senior manager of marketing for Chick-fil-A, in a news release. “The collectible PEZ dispenser is a great way for fans of the Cows to enjoy these classic candies, as well as to provide an exciting and memorable new way to enhance the Chick-fil-A brand via collectible ‘Eat Mor Chikin’ Cow memorabilia.”

In 2007, the Chick-fil-A “Eat Mor Chikin” Cows were recognized as one of America’s most popular advertising icons in a public vote sponsored by Advertising Week, and became members of New York’s Madison Avenue Advertising Walk of Fame.

Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A has more than 1,400 restaurants in 38 states and Washington D.C. In 2007, it generated $2.64 billion in sales.
