So today I sold every last pound package of coffee we had in the store – NO KIDDING! 414jszbt5wl

This month it’s all about selling coffee. There’s even a couple of contests going on. First, once our store sells 25 lbs. of coffee over our goal of 124 lbs. for the month, then we start getting $1 per lb. package [including the first 25 over our goal] for our tip jar I think it is. ~ NICE! Then there is a trip one of us could win to Seattle- one Partner in each region. The details of that are a bit more complicated but basically it is a drawing so even if I personally sell the most coffee it really doesn’t matter. I sure would like to go to Seattle! That would be a dream come true – MECCA!

February reading: So this month I’m reading Howard Schultz’s book “Pour Your Heart Into It”.

So far it’s been a good and interesting read. It’s basically a history of how Starbucks went from being a place that just sold imported coffee beans, tea and spices to what we know it is today.
