4.2.09

So, last night we come home from church to find that about 1/2 our house and the garage are without power. The first sign of trouble was when the garage door would not open with the remote in the car. So, thinking the battery might be bad in the remove I go inside to use the remote there– still won’t open. Then I suspect there might be a problem. Upon further review I notice some of the appliances and the like [ie. refrigerator, microwave, computer, etc.] are not working.

Turns out there def is a problem.

The power company arrived just before midnight and set up a temp transformer. About 5 something a.m. this morning the phone company was knocking at the front door in the darkness and rain letting me know they would be marking the phone line so the power company doesn’t dig it up when they come later on today to find and fix the problem.

What a night!

This is really all to weird because my parents just had the same exact thing happen to them about a month ago.
