The term BLOG is a portmanteau, or, in other words, a blend of the words web and log. A blog is a user-generated website where entries are made in journal style and displayed in a reverse chronological order. Blogs often provide commentary or news on a particular subject, such as food, politics, or local news; some function as more personal online diaries (as this one). A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic.

Puny run. 3 miles, 1 at 8.3, 1 at 10, and 1 at 12. Felt pretty wimpy this morning. That’s about all I could muster. Had some kind of virus thing over the weekend with aches and chills, upset stomach, etc. Tomorrow will be better.

GREAT 6+ mile run. Felt good. So much nicer to run on Saturdays when there are no time restrictions…

4.5 mile run. Still sore in the left hip area and right groin area. I ate this a.m. prior to my run. I think that helped to give me a bit more energy.

4 mile run at an 8.3 minute mile. A little stiff and sore.

5 miles at an 8.3 minute mile. I have come to believe that stretching is to running what reading your Bible and prayer is to being a Christian. VERY IMPORTANT! I can not a marked improvement in endurance and performance when I stretch properly prior too and following a run. However, I have to continually drill this into my head because I forget easily as I do with my prayer life and reading my Bible. It makes a HUGE difference in life…
